We strip each engine of every part and reassemble to original factory specifications using only quality, Italian-made Casa Lambretta Parts.

For concourse restorations we can also add "cosmetic" restoration to your engine rebuild. The cost is about $150-$200 additional and consists of polishing, re-plating or painting to original from-the-factory condition.

The price of parts depends on the engine's rarity and condition, some engines arrive in running condition needing only new seals and other perishables while others come to us looking as if they were used as boat anchors in the Mediterranean sea for 40 years.... on average, parts can be $250 to $700 when all done.

We take our restorations very seriously and treat each as if it were for ourselves. Each project is taken down to the frame and rebuilt to original specifications, regardless of the model. Each restoration cost is different because no two projects are the same but figure at least $4,500 and up to $6,000 and even more depending on the model and condition of the scooter. This full restoration includes engine, frame, body, parts and labor.

Each D and LD engine is installed on a test bike frame and driven by our mechanics a minimal amount of miles to ensure that the engine performs from start up, through all the gears, to shut down, smoothly and dependably before shipping home to you.
